--SECOND OPEN-- ALBUS SEVERUS POTTER --THIRD OPEN--
WANTED By the Ministry of Magic.
When Albus Potter began what he calls the "Divine Promise" movement, he hid from the Ministry underground in abandoned train stations. When his followers began to set up camps and permanent outposts they spent weeks and weeks underground and grew pale. They often were captured only when trying to return to their subterranean fortresses. It was not long before the Aurors started referring to them as members "of the Underground". The descriptive stuck.
When the Ministry started cutting off their connections to other stations and limiting their mobility over land, Albus and his followers developed a new method of transportation. Using a complex system of scrying glasses and specialized memory spells they were able to transport each other across great distances with little or no trouble and no interference from the Ministry. Outsiders came to believe that the members of the Underground actually melted into the soil and travelled just under the surface of the Earth. Many outside of the Ministry refer to them as "dirt goblins" and "sliders".
The Divine Promise movement is built around the belief that witches and wizards have been chosen by some divine power to rule the Earth. All witches and wizards, no matter what their blood purity, have been "promised a place over lesser humans". While this has been very, very appealing to halfbloods and muggleborns it has been a point of contention for traditional purebloods.
In recent months, the Ministry has come to believe that the murder of a pureblood boy named Arcellus Zambini is evidence of a "turf war" between a group of pureblood elitists and the Underground. There is little proof of this, but the message that accompanied the murdered boy - "We Shall Not Be Intimidated" - makes a strong case.
The Heir & The Spare
James Sirius Potter & Albus Severus Potter
James Sirius Potter & Albus Severus Potter
James would like to think that his relationship with his little brother only went south after their mother's death, but the truth is that their relationship has always been strained. James was the elder brother and the first born child. He was such a focal point for the family - strong, handsome, athletic, and so very much like their beloved father. The public turned from Harry and Ginny and their eyes immediately fell on James and they adored him. Only a portion of that public goodwill found its way to Albus.
The world expected much of James. The world expected him to win the House cup, it expected him to be Head Boy, it expected him to become an auror and he did not disappoint. The world expected nothing from Albus, the extra Potter, and Albus rose to become much more than anyone ever thought he could.
Both young men are dynamic, capable, and talented wizards. Both young men are absolute in their resolve and their paths through life. Both young men are bursting with charisma and visions of the future and have steadfast followers at their side.
Unfortunately ... they are now locked in mortal combat fighting wildly against one another for the soul of wizardom.
The Rebellion
James Potter started out working alongside the Ministry of Magic. As one of the Ministry’s best Aurors, he was put in charge of leading the operation to counter the Divine Promise movement. It was a small department, with the three Aurors who were on the job, sharing an office. With paperwork spilling off the desks and only two desks between them, frustration grew. It seemed as though the Ministry weren’t too fussed about the rise of a new movement.
In the beginning the Auror operation was successful, with possible members of the Divine Promise movement being tailed and watched. The Ministry stepped up funding, allocating more Aurors to the case and moving the department to a bigger office. That was until the Divine Promise movement disappeared completely. All the trails ran cold, as if they had never existed. James and the Aurors persevered determined to prove the Ministry wrong but that’s when the disappearances started. With members of his team disappearing every other day and often reappearing with wiped memories a week later, James grew frustrated with the Ministry’s attitude and he began to bend the rules.
With a newfound freedom and growing anger, James began The Rebellion, a group determined to protect the muggle and wizarding world from the Divine Promise movement. James took the lead and gathered together a group of cold and determined Aurors in order to take on his brother. He kept the group a secret from the Ministry to ensure that he could fund it from the funds directed into his department.
The Rebellion have grown tired of waiting. They’ve reached the end of the line and they’re willing to do anything to stop the Divine Promise movement. Unforgiveables are on the menu. Azkaban is calling.

--SECOND OPEN-- --LEADER OPEN-- --THIRD OPEN--
There has always been a dark presence in the wizarding world, from Grindelwald to Voldemort and everywhere in between. The wizarding underworld is filled with black markets, shady deals and people you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. It's all about who you know and the amount of influence you have. Money also helps, especially when bribing officials or paying to go unnoticed.
With the rise of the Divine Promise movement, the creatures of the underworld began to stir. The old Pureblood families, amongst them the Averys, Goyles, Lestranges, Macnairs, Malfoys, Montagues, Notts, Rosiers, and Zabinis, banded together to create a new official society. Of course they had not stopped in their mission to rid the world of filth, merely playing it down until the time was right. Being a competitive and ambitious bunch they weren't willing to stand by and watch someone else take all the credit. They began infiltrating the Divine Promise movement trying to change it slowly and subtly whilst also increasing the scale of their own operation.
They left no traces, no signs and no indication of their existence, opting to frame the Divine Promise movement instead. They were known by the Divine Promise movement as the Nameless Ones, which suited them very well. After all, the aim was to bring down the Divine Promise movement from the inside and then rise through their ashes to glory.
As soon as the Ministry cottoned onto their existence, they decided to create a name for themselves: the Everlasting.
