To: Felix From: Chang Hey! So, during Charms yesterday I couldn't help but notice the excellent wardrobe choices you'd made; I love the sunglasses. Really. Anyway, I totally noticed your clothing and just wanted to let you know that I wholeheartedly approve. It's about time more people started making an effort around here.
If you're interested, I would love to have you along on one of my window-shopping trips. (I take notes on the latest trends in designer collections and then transfigure old clothes into new, high-end fashions. Cheap and chic!)
By the way, you can call me Chang.

To: Chang From: Felix Finally, someone who can appreciate fashion! And that is so true about making an effort. Being forced to wear drab uniforms is no excuse to not exercise a little individuality! If only the professors understood that. You have no idea how much trouble I got into for the sunglasses. Well, and the alterations I made to the standard dress code, but please! That was nothing! Anyway, I'm so glad that someone understands.
I noticed you, too, by the way. I love your hair. That color works so well on you! Very forward fashion. Perhaps we both can start a movement for a bit more style around here. I can think of a few people who could use an intervention, as well.
Window shopping trips sound delightful! One thing that I miss about being home is regular shopping trips with my mother. I go with my sister sometimes, but it's just not the same as going with someone who actually has a sense of design. Let me know when next you want to go!
Well, I don't have as cool of a nickname as "Chang," but you can call me Felix. I look forward to our first adventure.

To: Felix From: Chang Believe me, I know what you mean by the professors getting all worked up over some tiny modification or other. They wouldn't know haute couture if it hexed them from point-blank range.
Why, thank you for the compliment! I love the color red - even though my absolute favorite is yellow - and it's just another way to shake things up. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to dye back to its original color soon (my grandparents are so particular about these things, and I'm going to visit them over the holiday).
I would totally be up to going shopping any time, but how does the next Hogsmeade trip sound? We could always sneak off and apparate wherever we like...providing we get back before people notice. Ooh, you know what would be amazing? If we could get our hands on a Time Turner, we could have a weekend full of shopping in Paris and still get back in time to not get in any trouble! I know it's nearly impossible, but one can dream...
I think the name "Felix" suits you quite well. Here's to all the fun times that lie ahead. ;)

To: Chang From: Felix If the clothing hexed them? Hmm... Do you think we could find a way to literally hex people into tasteful clothing? It sounds like it could be done - perhaps through transfiguration, or charms. I believe we should try this out...
Are your parents at least fine with the color? Because it really does suit you. If I dyed my hair, I don't even think my father would notice. And my mother wouldn't care as long as it complimented my skin tone. Grandparents are certainly another story, but it's not like they approve of much of my life anyway. So where will you be going over holiday? And if you like, I'll help you dye it again when you get back!
When is the next Hogsmeade weekend? I'm sure Stani could use a break from my attentions for a day.
Hogsmeade is all well and good, but I wish we could go to Paris... Unfortunately, the track minors over borders... How about London? Or maybe Cardiff? As for a Time Turner, I'll ask my mother - if anyone can get one for me, it's her. A true Slytherin, through and through, sneaky as she is. Thankfully, I inherited nearly all of her "bad habits," as my father says. :) I'll see what I can do.

To: Felix From: Chang YES. Let's do it. All we need are a few fashion-crippled first years and a quiet place to practice. Maybe we can get the Room of Requirement to be nice and give us a space.
My mother is okay with whatever I want to do, really - I think she's realized that she can't stop me when I have my heart set on something - but her parents are super strict and old-fashioned. We're going back to Shanghai for the holiday, so that's why the sudden black hair is happening. I think when I come back I'm going to dye it blonde again...it actually works on me.
So, next chance you get you should totally ask your mother to help us get a Time Turner. Even a weekend in London would be a fantastic shopping experience, and so much fun!
