louis had been anxious lately; the end of the year was coming up; exams were coming up; students were fighting; quidditch practice was rough; most of all, damian would be graduating and leaving him behind soon. damian lestrange; a taboo name to lous weasley-delacour. lou had always been taught to hate the lestranges; mindlessly despise them for 'all were illbred fools who only wanted pureblood supremicy'. lou couldn't agree more; but it was only for the most of them. zane lestrange was the exact opposite of his sister and cousins. damian lestrange, fore mentioned, however slytherin and death eater-ish, was a quite loving young male also. lou couldn't help but notice that regulus lestrange, the youngest, didn't fall far from the tree; reg lestrange was quite the charmer, but also quite similar to damian.
lou's anxieties were steadily building up; his main one was of the future year of quidditch and losing his damian. louis was a quidditch nut, no matter how homosexual he may be; quidditch was always his first love, damian coming in a close second. he'd been worrying for months what would happen to the team once the seventh years left; once both their captain and co-captain left them. quidditch was his life; he didn't want someone to come in and screw over the whole team because they've gotten a big head because zane lestrange and james potter were gone from the school. he also didn't want his damian to graduate and up and leave him. lou was a paranoid young lad, and he was aslways quite scared of damian going 'ha, this was a lie. i really hate you; i gave you a wizard curse, now you can't bear kids. HA.' or something along those lines. he'd given his all to mister damian lestrange, and that would simply kill him inside.
on that very day, louis found his anxienties being spent away by running around the inside of the quidditch pitch; it was quite empty, it being early on a saturday morning, the sun only have been out for an hour really. wearing a pair of loose, black basketball shorts and his older quidditch jersey, as well as a fairly aged pair of running shoes and a dog chain necklace with his name on it and damians initials, a gift from his sister, victoire. steadily jogging around the pitch for around forty-five minutes now, louis found his mind eased slightly; taken away from the troubles of the present and focusing more on the sites around him. slowing his jog until he was fully stopped, louis sat down in the grass of the pitch and breathed out slowly, a small trickle of sweat going down his throat. life would be complicated next year; he knew that for sure.

The future was something Zane had been thinking about a lot recently. With his final year at Hogwarts drawing to an end, his thoughts had been turning towards life after Hogwarts. Of course before that he had to deal with his NEWTs, but that wasn't something he was particularly keen on. He knew he didn't need NEWTs to become a professional Quidditch player, but he didn't want to let go of Hogwarts until he really had to. Hogwarts had given him everything he could have asked for, life long friends, Quidditch and an education. Mind you, starting a rebellion against another student group hadn't exactly been on the agenda.
He hopped around the dormitory, searching for one of his polos he wore for Quidditch practise, something which occurred regularly. His scarlet joggers were faded and tattered, well worn due to hours and hours of practises. The knees were grass stained and the writing almost illegible. As he searched the room, he spotted a polo shirt peeking out from behind his trunk. He retrieved the white shirt, pulling it on, he grabbed his prize broomstick from under the bed, pocketing a snitch and heading out.
He had been deep in discussions with various members of staff for the majority of his spare time. That time had come around to choose both the Captain and Vice Captain for the upcoming year. Zane, as Captain, had been asked to give his opinion on who he thought would be best for the job, although ultimately the decision lay with the professors. The only trouble was, the professors were leaning towards a student which had caused a lot of trouble during team practises as well as off the pitch. However they were unaware of this as it had been kept from them in order to give the student another chance. As discussions continued, the professors had begun to sway towards another student, whom Zane thought would work very well with the Vice Captain he had selected.
As he walked onto the pitch, he quickly picked out Louis Weasley sitting in the middle of the pitch. "Hey Louis!" he called, waving, before making his way over.
