There is never an empty supply of floating candles, students and especially not food. Four long tables for each house and one large table at the top for teachers. If there is one thing students will miss about Hogwarts it is definitely the endless supply of food.

A popular place for Hogwarts students to head for a midnight snack, of course, if they don't run into any Professors. The kitchen is run by many house elves who will gladly help any hungry students get something to eat. Many first years have trouble getting in, since one needs to tickle the pear for the entrance to open.

Probably one of the most amazing sights of Hogwarts. For new students, it's one of the most tricky things to manoeuvre around; especially when you're making sure not to head down a forbidden hallway and trying not to get stuck in a trick step.

Once the classroom of Firenze, now the classroom that holds all the detentions. Most of the time everyone finds themselves sitting in the stuffy room, writing out lines and lines until they've written their hands off.

All the classrooms can be found inside here, from Astronomy to Transfiguration, this is the place to go. I do hope you've done all of your homework, otherwise you might find yourself in detention.

The ghost of Moaning Myrtle has haunted these bathrooms for a number of years now, moaning and whining to anyone who enters the bathroom. She's a little more cautious now at who she whines at though, since she's found most of the lukers to be fairly upset as they enter her bathroom. This bathroom also contains the secret entrance of the Chamber of Secrets.

There are over a hundred thousand books in the library, filled with every magical spell thought possible, and every sort of creature, with every single fact of wizardry history. The restricted section will require a pass from a teacher, and Madame Pince is very strict about giving out those passes. No pass, no restricted section for you. It almost makes you wonder what could possibly be hiding in there.

Madame Pomfrey has delt with more magical incidents that probably most healers at St. Mungo's. From broken legs, to cursed arms, this would be the place to get all checked out. Quidditch players certainly find themselves in here more than once.

The Prefect's Bathroom is strictly prefects and heads only. It's a place for them to unwind and relax, talk about the students they've caught doing god knows what and the like. If you are not a prefect, looks like you'll be using the bathrooms in the common room, with everybody else.

A popular form of detention is to get the student to shine each and every trophy in this room. You must have done something terrible to get this brough upon you. It holds the House Cup and the Quidditch Cup, along with the names of previous prefects, Head Boys and Girls and special awards such as Special Services to the school awards.

Not many have found out how to get in the Room of Requirement, unless you know some people. To enter, one only has to walk past the corridor three times, with only what one wants on ones mind. The room will decide if it's a true requirement or not and will fill itself to accomodate.

Once a secret passage, the Whomping Willow has seen the brave and the stupid try to get near it's trunk. It's rowdy and it's not afraid to fly down from its standing position to reach out and grab someone who has gotten too close to it. After all, it didn't receive its name for nothing!

The Forbidden Forest has its fair share of mythical creatures. Most aren't the nicest, while others can be nice when they want to be. This forest is out of bounds for all hogwarts students, but really, when has that stopped anybody from entering? The Zyanov students are allowed to roam the woods freely to allow them to hunt.

Curious monsters live in this lake. This includes the famous Hogwarts' Giant Squid. Frightening to some, intruiging to others. In the summer months, many students like to take a dip in its cool waters.

This where all the boats are stored, obviously...but this is a quiet spot so sometimes students can be found sitting on the jetty, staring out over the lake.

The litte gamekeeper's hut on the edge of the Forbidden Forest. It was severely damaged in the battle of hogwarts and so is not in the state it used to be. With the building of a new gamekeeper's hut, this one tends to be used by savvy students.

The hospital, where students and adults go when they're accidents are too serious to handle on your own or with magic.

Behind the magic wall lays the shopping center for all magic users.

This is where the journey to Hogwarts begins for most of the students. Platform Nine and Three Quarters is the place to be, where the scarlet train will whisk you off to school.

This is the Ministry of Magic, located deep beneath London's streets. If you find yourself here, you have probably been called for a talk about the use of underage magic.
